Double bass player Charles Block will be joining Mill City String Quartet for an exciting concert featuring Antonin Dvorak’s epic “String Quintet Op. 77” and Jessie Montgomery’s brilliant “Strum.” We will also present Elizabeth Maconchy’s “String Quartet No. 3,” alongside Carlos Simon’s poignant “An Elegy: A Cry From the Grave.” This performance is free to the public, with all donations supporting MetroNOME Brewery and their mission to fund music education in Minnesota, fostering a deeper appreciation for music within our communities.
